2. Purpose of this notice
This notice describes how PrinterBarta Kft. (the "Controller") processes the personal data it receives through its website (printerbarta.hu) and during customer relations, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on the right of informational self-determination and freedom of information.
3. Data processed and purposes
a) Contact (form, email, phone)
Data processed: name, email address, phone number, content of the message.
Purpose: answering enquiries, providing quotes, scheduling consultations.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — pre-contractual steps — and Art. 6(1)(f) — the Controller's legitimate interest in business communication.
Retention: up to 2 years after the end of the contact; if a business relationship is established, in line with contractual and accounting obligations (8 years under Act C of 2000 on Accounting, § 169).
b) Contracted clients
Data processed: name of contact person, role, contact details, company data, billing data, project documentation.
Purpose: contract performance, invoicing, warranty administration.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) — contract performance and legal obligation (accounting, tax).
Retention: 8 years under the Hungarian Accounting Act.

4. Data processors
The Controller engages the following service providers, which may process personal data solely on the Controller's instructions and for the purposes set out in this notice:
- Hosting and platform provider (for operating the website).
- Email and communication provider.
- Accounting firm (for fulfilling accounting obligations).
Data is stored within the European Union, specifically on servers located in Ireland (eu-west-1 region), and is therefore subject to EU data protection jurisdiction.

5. Data security
The Controller ensures the security of the processed data through appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted data transfer (HTTPS), access controls, regular backups, and permission management.
6. Your rights
You have the right to: request information about your processed data; request rectification, erasure or restriction; object to processing; data portability; and withdraw your consent at any time. You can exercise your rights by writing to info@printerbarta.hu; we will respond within 30 days at the latest.
7. Remedies
You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH): 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11.; ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; www.naih.hu. In case of a violation of your rights you may also turn to court.
8. Changes to this notice
The Controller reserves the right to amend this notice unilaterally. The version in force is always available on the website.
